Rachel has designed 2 custom pieces for me. One was for my daughter as I sent her off to college, and one in memory of a dear friend who lost her battle with cancer. When I first engaged Rachel to design a piece for both events she took the time to ask about the person they were being gifted to. She asked about my relationship with each of them. What I thought would be a chat about color and style, turned into a free-flowing conversation….I almost forgot we were talking about jewelry design! I was truly impressed with Rachel’s passion to know whom she was creating these pieces for. Their passions, their struggles, if they needed support or if it was a gift of love. I had an idea for each item in mind but felt confident in her ability and gave her carte blanche to create based on the stories I told her. What she created was perfect.
For my college-bound daughter she designed a distance Reiki double wrap bracelet with infused lava beads and used my daughter’s favorite colors and sterling silver accents.
